From a purely commercial perspective, the Business operates an independent school for students aged 1416 from London and its surrounding suburbs, who have been excluded from main stream schooling, are in trouble with the authorities, are gang members, have family issues or are unable to adjust to main stream education for any other reason. Pupils are referred to the Business from (ordinary) schools, local authorities and police, social welfare organizations and government, etc. and the Business receives a preset daily fee for each such pupil from the local authorities.
From a real life perspective, the Business is an establishment serving the greater good by offering a supportive and safe learning environment for students who might otherwise end up in the streets and would possibly be involved in illegal activities. The Business creates an individually tailored curriculum for each pupil that considers all aspects of their lives including relationships with their family and peers.
