BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Hostel for Travellers and Backpackers http://www.nomadcardiff.co.uk/

Ref.AC317
Location Cardiff, Wales
Asking Price £ 250,000

This highly successful and well presented hostel has been trading for around three and a half years. The present owner took a twenty five year lease on the premises and has created a well appointed, immaculately presented facility for travellers and those looking for cheap overnight accommodation while visiting the Welsh capital. Visitors and guests are immediately impressed by the immaculate and well decorated rooms, comfortable surroundings and friendly atmosphere.

The premises have a variety of dormitory style layouts with a total of one hundred and three beds and locker space. The ground floor plays host to a reception, a licensed bar selling a range of bottled beers and shorts, a games room with pool table, outside garden and BBQ area. Residents can also make use of a communal kitchen to prepare their own food.

The booking system is simple and effective. All reservations are generated either on line or from the local tourist board. Visitors must pay by credit card and have a Passport and full home address. The business has invested in Dormbook software. This is a total management system and controls arrivals and departures, notifies which beds therefore need changing, issues invoices, calculates VAT returns and does management accounts.
